MultipoleDegree¶

Use the limits given by MultipoleDegree = $[N_{min}, N_{max}]$ to define the multipoles used in the computed expansion. Setting the maximum degree used in the expansion allows to balance accuracy of the expansion and computation time.

Entering just $N_{max}$ is allowed and $N_{min}=1$ is implicitly used. Restricting the expansion to contributions from specific multipoles is possible by specifying the same values as upper and lower limits.

With the notation of the parent section, all coefficients $a_{nm} , b_{nm}$ with $n\in[N_{min}, N_{max}]$ are computed.
