The ChiefRay can be used together with the NumericalAperture to change the selection range of the computed Fourier spectrum.This allows to select all modes in the NA around the ChiefRay. It is entered as polar and azimuthal angles $\theta$ and $\phi$ in the form $\text{ChiefRay}=[\theta ,\phi ]$ .

With the notation of the parent section, Fourier modes with

are computed.
